Welcome to the website of painter/printmaker Jeni Rabjohns.
Jeni studied fine art at Ripon and York, specialising in painting and printmaking.
In 1994 Jeni Rabjohns left her career as an art tutor and settled in the Alpujarra, in the province of Granada. Now a full-time resident of Trevélez, high in the Sierra Nevada, Jeni divides her time between painting and printmaking. Rambling through the beautiful countryside of the Alpujarra and Sierra Nevada with watercolours and pastels she attempts to capture the essence of her adopted home. Back in her workshop in Trevélez she produces linocuts, collagraphs, monoprints and mixed media works on canvas. Abstracting elements from her paintings to produce original and exciting work with its roots in the landscape that surrounds and inspires her. Examples of her illustration work can be found in the guide book “Holiday Walks in the Alpujarra”, published by Sigma Press and available on Amazon.
Jeni Rabjohns es licenciada en Bellas Artes y especializada en pintura y grabado. Ha trabajado como profesora de arte en The Open College of the Arts y como terapeuta de arte en un colegio residencial por adolescentes con problemas emocionales.
Desde 1994 esta artista ha vivido en la actualidad en La Alpujarra de Granada, hermosa comarca de cuyo paisaje y architectura está enamorada lo cual se refleja claramente en sus obras.
Ahora, como residente de Trevélez, Jeni dividi su tiempo entre la pintura y la grabadora. Caminando en el paisaje hermoso de la Alpujarra y Sierra Nevada , intenta capturar la esencia de su hogar adoptivo con acuarela , óleo y pastel.
Sus pinturas se encuentran en Australia, Japón, Canadá, Noruega, Alemania,Inglaterra, España y Estados Unidos.

Jeni ha participado en la exposición “Artistas Británicos del Siglo XX en Granada” en la sala de exposiciones “Gran Capitan” en el año 2002.
También como socia de la Agrupación de Acuarelistas de Andalucía, ha participado en la II Exposición de Primavera en el Pabellón de Andalucía, Sevilla, abril 2008.
En España ha realizado exposiciones de acuarelas y óleos en:-
